Are there any internet sites that offer cheap airline tickets?

I’m looking to travel from Arizona to Chicago for the Thanksgiving holiday and I’m trying to find the lowest round-trip airline ticket prices. I’m open to any suggestions

Good luck with that… you probably picked the worst time to buy the tickets, so close to the holiday. It’s doubtful there will be any sales, since the airlines have no incentive to do so. Especially when it involves hub airports.

priceline.com has gotten much better than when they first started. Now not only will you get a cheap rate, but you have more of a say in the flight and airline that you choose. Make sure that you are not making plans at the last minute and round trip is better priced than one way.

Shoot me an e-mail to and I’ll help you. Ive been in the travel industry for years. Travel websites are not necessarily cheaper, they just appear that way. For starters they add booking fee’s, off rediculous connections and have additional restrictions to the fares. Usually the airlines themselves have the better deals and you avoid booking fee’s. You may find that the base fare on a website is cheaper than what’s listed with the airline (although this is rare), but by the time they add in their booking fee’s and all other junk fee’s, you come out paying $15-$50 or more on the travel websites.
I’ll be glad to help you, just tell me your dates. Thanksgiving will be more expensive and flights are already close to full at this point.
